I downloaded the New Xbox Experience (NXE) last night, and yes, I created an avatar. I was very skeptical of the whole avatar thing because it reminded me too much of the Wii. I was pleasantly surprised though. It’s scary how similar some people’s avatars actually look like them! Check out the xbox360 page to see what I’m talking about

Just picked this up. If you haven’t heard of it, watch the video below. Mirror’s Edge has elements of Portal, and reminiscent of Run Lola Run. I especially appreciate the puzzle-like game play, which is really unique and different (hence the Portal reference). This game is interesting, clean (no H.U.D.), and has a very obvious style. I definitely recommend this one!

Saw this on KING 5’s website and thought it would make a good “FAIL” post.

Regardless of who you voted for, I’m sure we can all appreciate what it means for our nation to have it’s first black president, Barack Obama. All differences aside, it’s a pretty neat experience. I’m not one who usually engages in sentimental thought, but it’s crazy to see how excited people are over Obama’s win. I mean, if McCain had won, McCain supporters wouldn’t be AS excited as Obama supporters are for his win.

My latest project has been an internal one. I’ve been redesigning our other site, www.rainnetdev.com , since there really isn’t a “home page” and we could make good use of it. All I have up so far is the design layout and navigation. You’ll notice that the design is similar to themolitor.com. While I’m not one for repetitious design, I thought it fit really well since the circles look like rain drops. My favorite aspect of the design so far is the navigation. I’ll be working on the site over the next week or so, but you can check periodically for any progress I make.

Instant classic if you ask me. Kristen Wiig is probably my favorite cast member on Saturday Night Live (many of you might recognize her from “The Joe Schmo Show”).
